Hi there... Maybe one or the other remembers my 20 minutes bou-sketch for *Hisietari... I promised, I'll do a proper portrait of him and well... here you go.

About the background first... I know that it is stripy... It was intended, though. I wanted to make clear visible that this is not real BG, but a wallscroll or such stuff used in a photoshoot. The branches Are black like on a Japanese fan I've seen. I liked it to show more that unreal and asian part. But, though the stripes are intended, the scanner made them too hard and also the blue too shiny, so that Bou seems to be more like part of the wall than standing in front of it -.-
I did use such a light blue and now that ;_;

I don't know, what else to say about this one... it's my third time, trying coloured pencils and the first one in that ammount of colours and details... The Kimono was killing me and till the very end, I didn't know, how to bring out Bou's white hair. Thanks to everyone, giving me suggestions in my scrap or journal, where I asked about this problem. You all helped me so much ^-^

Another problem was the fan... I wasn't able to see, what structure the lace had, so I just invented one, I thought fitting. I hope it still looks okay.

It was fun to do something in colour again. And I am always impressed how resistant the coluor is, while mechanical pen/graphit drawings seem to whipe just from looking at them XD

But I really need to buy coloured pencils for skintones and everything next week (so it's illogical after finishing the drawing XD)
For this I've used a bunch of different pencils, from no name child coloured pencils to Koh-i-Noor *Hisietari presented me some while ago. And of course good old mech for all black parts (no black coloured pencil)
